Springside

Springs of clear, pure water along the Dakota trail were an attraction to those trekking their way West in the early days of Canada. Ranchers and settlers homesteaded near these springs, and built the town that we now know as Springside. Grain growing are the main crops for the agriculture in the area, a mainstay in the local economy. The success of this has brought other trades and businesses into town, and Springside has grown because of it.

Residents benefit from the town's services such as RCMP, volunteer fire protection, an elementary school (rural bus accommodates kids needing secondary education to Yorkton), public library, recreational facilities, waste management and a senior complex.
