ABOUT US
We've been around for years! You used to know us by our former name, Broadway Park Realty. That office name existed since the opening of Century 21 in Yorkton, around the mid 70's. The West end of town where it was originally located was slated to have a park nearby, thus the name. Unfortunately, that plan didn't go through, but the name for the office stayed.
Our current broker, Jonathan Bueckert, became a Realtor® in 2008 with Broadway Park Realty. Having lived in Yorkton for a number of years already, Jon was passionate about family and community. This passion led to the growth of his career, and in 2011, he purchased the brokerage from Len Wassill - long time Broker/Realtor® for both Broadway Park Realty in Yorkton and Parkland Realty in Melville. Jon learned a lot from Len, and their collaboration together ended up in the amalgamation of Yorkton and Melville's offices.
In 2020, the office moved from its West Broadway location to a new home on the East side. With an amalgamated team, a national rebrand and a new location, it was the perfect time to celebrate it all with a new name. Able Realty was born. The name is partly derived from Jon's nephew, named Abel, and from his team who are eager, willing and "able"! This combination of family and team perfectly reflects Jon's view on family and community, and is his driving force when it comes to helping people find or sell their homes.
Nothing fake, nothing gimmicky. Just an honest experience. You're a part of the family!
BUYERS REPRESENTATION
We can ease the process of house hunting. We can help you get financing, help you determine your budget, and prioritize a list of essential features that you'll need in your next home. We'll save you valuable time by finding the properties that best suit your requirements, and will show you only the most promising ones.
Once you've found a place that catches your eye, we'll look at comparable properties in the area to help determine a purchase offer. Then, we'll negotiate on your behalf with the seller to make sure you get the most favourable terms. It's our job to look after your best interests, and we do so at no cost to you as a buyer.
SELLERS REPRESENTATION
Selling a house on your own can be daunting. There's advertising to plan and budget for, open houses to have, private showings to arrange, purchase offers to negotiate, contract contingencies to worry about, and hefty paperwork to fill out. Make it easy on yourself by putting your home in the hands of experienced professionals. We have extensive experience dealing with the legalities and fine details, as well as marketing houses for sale.
First, we perform a comparable market analysis to determine the most appropriate price for your home. This is also known a home valuation. Then we provide home staging advice and suggest landscaping changes that will help draw buyers in. We'll advertise your home through a variety of methods, including online MLS® listings and our print publication, the Buying and Selling Guide. You can learn more about our marketing plan when you visit our Sellers section from our Main Menu.
When it comes to negotiating a purchase offer, we make sure that you get the best price that the market will allow. We'll help you understand contract contingencies and details of the closing process, in addition to handling all of the paperwork for you. Essentially, we're here to represent you throughout the entire selling process, and to make sure that your real estate transaction is a positive and profitable experience.
