Churchbridge

The arrival of settlers from the Anglican Colonization Society in the late 1800's saw to a steady beginning of Churchbridge, with a post office and a few shops. By 1964, Churchbridge was officially declared as a town. Located at the intersection of the Yellowhead Highway (#16) and #80 Highway, the town leads to three Potash mines. Another mine is located about 70 km away. These mines are responsible for the continued growth of the town, as the steady success of Potash in the national economy attracts hard working families in search of a stable income. This growth has allowed other businesses, services, clubs, etc., to take root.

Churchbridge offers a K-12 public school, a community arena, ball diamonds, a community hall, a Curling rink, daycare accommodations, a Fire Department, First Responders & Jaws of Life, a fitness centre, a golf course, a Gun Club, a Library and a Senior Centre.
