Bredenbury

Bredenbury is the second divisional point West of Winnipeg, on the Winnipeg-Edmonton branch of the Canadian Pacific Railway (CP) This marking means that it is an important centre of railway operations. The town itself is situated on a perfectly level patch of sandy ground with a nice scattering of trees. The roads and streets show no effects from heavy rains, making it ideal for residential building. The total adjacent area to Bredenbury is equivalent to approximately 70,000 acres of first-class land, highly suited to general farming purposes. As such, the town is successful due its agricultural contribution. The best part of this small town are its people, however. Moving into the neighbourhood is like marrying into a friendly family!

There are no public schools in Bredenbury, but children can use the rural bus system to take their elementary years in Saltcoats, and their high school years in Yorkton. It's also important to note that this community is known for its enthusiastic Christmas light displays which have won national awards.
